For dark pictures, duplicate base, then put put it on screen


In the layers pallete (Window>Layers)

Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Selective Color
Then click OK and input these :

Reds
-100
-65
+100
+100

Yellows
+100
-100
+100
+77

Greens
+100
-62
-2
+100
Cyans
-2
+100
0
-6

White
+3
+58
0
0

Neutralsbr> +62
+17
0
+3

Then Merge all the Layers together (Layer>Flatten Image).
And you should come out with something like this:
